Growing up in Penfield, NY, Ryan’s initial fascination with engineering was sparked in his early school days at Plank Road North Elementary, where his involvement in Lego robotics ignited a lifelong passion for building and innovation.
Ryan’s formative educational experiences at McQuaid Jesuit High School in Rochester further cultivated his engineering skills and sense of social responsibility. A pivotal member of the school’s robotics team, Ryan was instrumental in engineering a climbing mechanism that allowed their robot to perform impressively in competitions, garnering the team an "Excellence in Engineering" award. This project enhanced his technical skills and reinforced the value of teamwork and creative problem-solving.
