Growing up in Penfield, NY, Ryan’s initial fascination with engineering was sparked in his early school days at Plank Road North Elementary, where his involvement in Lego robotics ignited a lifelong passion for building and innovation.
Ryan’s formative educational experiences at McQuaid Jesuit High School in Rochester further cultivated his engineering skills and sense of social responsibility. A pivotal member of the school’s robotics team, Ryan was instrumental in engineering a climbing mechanism that allowed their robot to perform impressively in competitions, garnering the team an "Excellence in Engineering" award.
